Tommorow review and Today's look

Calero is going to be examined tonight by Lewis Yocum and he is expected to be allowed to pitch in two days. Also, Thomas and Kielty will be in the lineup tonight; who they replace, I don't know yet.

Update: Yahoo has released the lineup and Thomas is in left for Byrnes with Kielty in right for Swisher. And unlike Atlanta's Bobby Cox's constructive move in placing the struggling Andruw Jones in the seventh spot, Chavez and his 0-15 RISP avg is batting third.

As for yesturday, Macha did the best he could in trying to stretch Dotel's warmup tosses for the ninth. However, durring the comeback in the top of the ninth, he should have instructed Yabu to throw a pitch and pretend like he was hurt to get more time for Dotel. That's just a little gamesmanship that lots of managers use when they are in a tight, tight pinch.

I look for the A's offense to explode off of Byrd simply because the A's know him from his KC days and they know him well.
